– Peter Cerqueira

Peter, born in Angola (Africa) of Portuguese parents, grew up in the United States and received all his education and training there. Peter made a profession of faith when he was seven years of age after listening to an evangelistic message. At fourteen years of age, he dedicated his life to his Savior and Lord.

After having obtained various higher education degrees, Peter obeyed the Lord’s call to missions. He was commended by his Portuguese assembly in Rhode Island who sent him to Portugal in 1995.

Peter’s heart is to see the planting of dozens of new assemblies in Portugal. Peter’s giftings are in teaching of the Word of God and administration, among others.

Peter is committed to New Testament assembly principles and is keen on the importance of faithfully applying them in the modern context.
